There have been a few people who have been begging for me to update my alien asylum. Since I do miss it as well, I think I totally should! The problem is though, I have a ton of pictures taken from the (unposted) party experiment part 2 that I totally forgot what I was going to say about them. Soooo... I'm just going to fill this entry with a shitload of spam to fill you in on what happened! And... I might also throw some spoilers into the mix. ;)

The reason being is well, I'm planning on taking the teenagers to college soon. Marina, Maxis, and Olivia anyway- They're all the same age, with Bunker and Julia being slightly younger. And then I've got Lydia transitioning VERY soon along with Dill and Gherkin (Vidcund's twins). New characters will also come into play- these will include Tybalt Capp (possibly his sisters too), his girlfriend Maura, and Beau Broke along with his twin brothers Samson and Glenn. No, the new characters aren't secrets. I have written a little about the Brokes in this drabble, and my silly thing about Tybalt is here. Scratch that, he already made a brief appearance in chapter 2 part 2.

simstorytellers drabbles because I always end up not making the deadline- plus, they give me limitations which I always end up failing at doing. So, if I have my own list here then I will be able to do them at my own pace and however long I want them to be! And who knows, maybe the ideas here will end up being ones that fit the drabble challenges in the community anyway.Okay, so what I'm asking for is requests for a drabble relating to Immortal Beloved. Or any character in Strangetown, La Fiesta Tech, or even some of my own creations or other people's sims that you know I have lying around (such as the aliens in the asylum) for that matter. Who knows? Maybe if you have a suggestion for characters that aren't in the story they might end up being in it!
You can give me a name of characters you might want to be included with a subject matter- or one word I could use in it. Like say... Maxis and Marina with Sexuality being the subject? Or even just a request for random silly banter between Guy and Frances. (Hehe, I already did the latter here, but I'm sure there will be more to come!)

I feel like I'm letting people down for not following through with stuff lately, even though I know a lot of my readers probably aren't so impatient and can wait for an update. I said I would talk about how my craft fair went last week but I didn't, I said that IB chapter 3 would be up soon but it's not, I was going to finish my selfsim SimSperiments but I didn't, and I haven't posted the next updates of my Alien Asylum and the Doohickeys even though the pictures are there waiting for me. Hell, I don't even think I remember what I was going to say in them!
Anyway, this entry will be a jumbled up mess of Sims shit and RL shit, just like the other entry I did a while ago. Before I get to anything, I'd like to point out that I have a new layout. I was really getting tired of the dark blue because it was making my photos look so dark too.

I'll talk about my craft fair tomorrow, after the second one is done. One thing you should know is that we've been looking for a new car/truck/whatever to take out to the fairs (as mentioned in this friends only post) and we found one! We are now the owner of a brand new black PT Cruiser- and I've already given it a name.

It's much better than just calling it the "car" or "truck" because it's neither. And I hate using the word "station wagon". That sounds so formal if you ask me. :P
The pictures have definitely proven to be extremely difficult do do. I had to "move in" a ton of sims just for the sake of a picture and what they were supposed to be doing required them to live there. And there are a lot of sims in this section too- though I'm afraid I'll have to deal with even more when I'm working on part 2. This is the first time I've been forced to turn free will off when taking pictures, because other sims that weren't supposed to be in the shots kept popping into the scenes!
On a side note, I can't seem to get the OMSPs to work. I can get them into the surfaces just fine, but I can't put anything on them. Fellow storytellers and OMSP users- how exactly do you use them? I haven't even attempted using the invisible magisplay tray yet, but I eventually need that too.
Of course with Jenny and PT's obsession with rolling the wants "have a baby", I had them pop out a few before Jenny turned into an elder. I don't know if either of them will end up in the story, but I thought you'd like to see the results...
I already know that this is going to be a HUGE three-part chapter that features a lot of characters and a ton of familiar faces (some in the background or new additions to the story). Because of this, I'm trying to finish up all of the sections before I post the first one so there won't be such a long wait between them.
I'm having a problem that is making it very difficult for me though. It's been so hard for me to take pictures because some scenes require a shitload of sims on the lot, which is causing the game to have serious lag. I'm contemplating lowering the graphics settings a tiny bit for those particular scenes. Hope it doesn't make it look TOO horrible.

I think I've taken up too many projects in both real life and my life as a member of the huge sims LJ community we have going on here. Because of this, I cannot say when anything I'm doing will actually be finished. Work and school aren't the issue because I don't do much in either of them. I guess you can say preparing for this huge fair I have coming up in the first weekend of October is the biggest culprit. In any case, it seems that I've been getting mentally and physically tired a lot faster these days.

Well, I'm back. Craft fair was like any other- people passing our table, ones who do say I make great stuff but don't buy anything, etc. I made $83, almost double the table cost, but I'm still disappointed. People seem to like my cheap holiday themed stuff more than the things I actually put so much time and effort into. And then they take a business card and say they'll look on my website but I barely have anything on it. I despise taking pictures of my stuff and putting it up there because I can never make it look as good as it does in person.
It was supposed to rain today, but thank god it didn't. Instead it was cloudy and humid, which was also terrible craft fair weather. Anything's better than the hurricane I experienced last summer at the music festival at the local beach though! My tent got totalled that day, and so did a few of my creations. It was basically my mom in the front holding the leg down on one side, my dad holding the other, and me holding BOTH sides down in the back before it actually blew away. Seriously, I thought that I would fly right with it then.
Anyway, if you feel like looking at the things I have up at my site now, it's here. I hope to get some more up before October 4th and 5th, which is when my next (two day) craft fair is. I guarentee you the stuff I have on there in the future will be better quality than what is up there now- I've got a ton of necklace and earring sets that NEVER get sold or looked at even though they're my best work.
I think I'd enjoy it more if I did these events by myself and not with my parents. Unfortunately I don't have a lisence or a car (failed my road test twice) or I would. I also wish I had a friend that wouldn't mind going with me. My dad acts like my boss, telling me what I should and should not make- yet he does nothing when it comes to my business. All he has done is made a few displays and has helped me get shit out of the car... Then complains the whole time he's at the show saying I'm doing stuff wrong. I don't mind my mom there, though. All we need is a bigger car so we could carry everything in just one so he wouldn't have to tag along with us.
So. I also created MOAR SIMS MACROS! Again, some you might have seen before, and some have never been shown to the public. I just added them to the previous macro page. Enjoy! XD
