There have been a few people who have been begging for me to update my alien asylum. Since I do miss it as well, I think I totally should! The problem is though, I have a ton of pictures taken from the (unposted) party experiment part 2 that I totally forgot what I was going to say about them. Soooo... I'm just going to fill this entry with a shitload of spam to fill you in on what happened! And... I might also throw some spoilers into the mix. ;)

I feel like I'm letting people down for not following through with stuff lately, even though I know a lot of my readers probably aren't so impatient and can wait for an update. I said I would talk about how my craft fair went last week but I didn't, I said that IB chapter 3 would be up soon but it's not, I was going to finish my selfsim SimSperiments but I didn't, and I haven't posted the next updates of my Alien Asylum and the Doohickeys even though the pictures are there waiting for me. Hell, I don't even think I remember what I was going to say in them!
Anyway, this entry will be a jumbled up mess of Sims shit and RL shit, just like the other entry I did a while ago. Before I get to anything, I'd like to point out that I have a new layout. I was really getting tired of the dark blue because it was making my photos look so dark too.

I think I've taken up too many projects in both real life and my life as a member of the huge sims LJ community we have going on here. Because of this, I cannot say when anything I'm doing will actually be finished. Work and school aren't the issue because I don't do much in either of them. I guess you can say preparing for this huge fair I have coming up in the first weekend of October is the biggest culprit. In any case, it seems that I've been getting mentally and physically tired a lot faster these days.

We've had a Koi pond for about 10 years, and as of just this week we've lost most of our large fish. Possibly we will lose all of them soon. :(

Exactly what it says in the title! I'm cleaning out my storytelling folder, which I haven't done in ages! Its kind of embarrassing to say how much stuff I still had there. What can I say, I'm a sim picture addict! So here I'm putting up some images so they'll clog up my photobucket account instead of my game. The things that will be in this "Image Dump" (I'm sure there will be others) are pointless spam of my new founders, my selfsim and other favorite sims, showing off new custom content and default replacements, and sims I've downloaded from other people! If I can fit them, I'll also include some new faces that might be seen in Immortal Beloved in the future. Yes, that is still is going on- I'm just taking my time writing the next chapter.

As much as I am happy I finally have something to do on lj besides my posting my own stuff and refreshing my friends list, it has proven to be an extremely frustrating process in this short amount of time. Getting together the founder submissions was HELL for me!
As some of you know, I've been bouncing back and forth from my house to my grandmother's house, which is where my laptop with the sims on it is. This is because my other grandma is staying at my house, and has decided to take over my mom's room. Because I can't stand this grandma (according to my dad, her own son: "well, her hygeine IS questionable"), I volunteered to sleep at my other grandmother's house. At the time I didn't know that this was for TWO FUCKING WEEKS! So for the past week and a half I've been sleeping at my grandmother's house (she lives two blocks away from me, thank God) and spending the rest of the day at my house.
I had a total of 11 founders show up yesterday in the founder submission post, and I had to wait until around 10:00 last night to download and check them in bodyshop. My laptop has barely any internet connection at my grandmother's house, and downloading the founders took FOREVER. Luckily I got all of them downloaded and working by midnight besides a select few that I had to PM about since they didn't have the proper link, had cc, etc. Then I had to wait until I went to my house so I could make the actual founders list without the connection being so shitty.
I am so glad there's only a few more days of this crap. I can't wait until I get my own laptop back that has the sims on it AND a decent internet connection! Plus... I REALLY WANT TO PLAY MY ALIEN ASYLUM AND I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NINE! I need to see some moar COSMELIEN and FARTING BAO-DUR and the rest of them!
Off topic, but ETA: That simsecret entry about simstorytellers that was posted last week? Totally made by me. (Me=Bad Secret-Keeper) Wish I included the community I mod now there too, because that of course "is worthy of my friends list"! XD

I hope to actually post this after I finish chapter 2 of Immortal Beloved. Like I said before, I would love to do one of these
pixel_trade things, so I thought the asylum would be the shorter one to do so I could still focus on my other projects and get this one over quickly. Oh, and to not show favoritism toward any particular alien that isn't mine- the controllable Sim is my own resident alien drama queen Marina Terrano all grown up. Technically this is gonna be a hard one for her too since she prefers the ladies. Let's see if any of these sexy men can change her tune!

Van Squirgle
This is my self sim, and founder of my legacy/story Immortal Beloved.
She is known for farting, swinging on refrigerators, and being a complete Ripp Grunt stalker- Even when she is married and currently has three daughters.
Stats: (Romance/Knowledge) 3 Neat, 4 Shy, 3 Lazy, 9 Playful, and 6 Nice.
Mace:
The Mace sisters are Van's daughters, and are the potential heirs to the legacy family.
Olivia Mace
Olivia is the eldest, and is the lovechild of Van and Abhijeet Turner. However, she has been raised by Blair since she was a toddler and doesn't know she's not his. She is a tough girl, and is almost always seen with her girlfriend Marina by her side. (Oh, and she's gorgeous when she grows up!)
Suggested Personality: (Popularity/Pleasure) Extremely Outgoing, Extremely Playful, Very Messy, Very Active, and Moderately Grouchy.

Julia is the middle child, and she would like to think she's the most responsible of the three. She spends most of her days in the Wrightley's house as a nanny, and dreams of being a 1950s style housewife, with the perfect faimily. Now she just needs to find the perfect husband for said family.

Lydia Mace
According to Maxis Curious, Lydia's sole purpose in life is to annoy others. She is constantly over his house, and uses the excuse that she is going to play with his little cousins in order to stalk him. She is impatiently waiting for her transition so she can finally get a chance to not have him see her as just a silly little girl- and hopefully have him view her as something much much more.

Terrano:
These are Stella and Tank's kids. Even though they are totally different, they are still very close.
Marina Terrano
Bold would be the best word to describe Marina. She is an outspoken drama queen, and embraces her alien heritage. So much so, that she plans on picking up the research on sim mating and sexuality that her mother did while she was training to be a pollination technician.

Bunker Terrano
If Buzz Grunt's wishes are granted, Bunker is next in line to become general. However, his sons have shown him that his family members have a reputation of not being what he wants them to be. If he will actually follow through with his grandfather's plans remains to be seen. He enjoys having water balloon fights with his good friend Maxis and used to have long hair. Unlike his sister, he's not too comfortable in his own skin.
This guy's one of my favorites so you better take good care of him!

The tech family have just arrived in Strangetown to deliver a special package to a certain old green man that lives at 101 Road to Nowhere. They mysteriously ran out of fuel in their space craft, and it looks like(much to Hector's dismay) they will be staying there for quite a while.
Balthazar Tech
Balthazar is a man who has worn many hats in his short (well, in alien terms) life, and posesses various types of knowledge- despite being viewed as a failure by the leaders of the Colony. Formerly a Pollination Technician and a Mechanic, he is currently a Delivery Worker that is supposed to bring a special package to a resident of Strangetown. If he doesn't get sidetracked, hopefully he will actually succeed in doing this job and finally get the respect that he deserves.
Suggested Personality: (Family/Pleasure) Extremely Playful, Very Nice, Very Sloppy, Very Lazy, and Moderately Outgoing.
Hector Tech
Hector is a Pollination Technician who involuntarily was sent to 'babysit' his younger brother Balthazar while he was on his mission. He is very into his work, and hopes that his spawn Mezoga will follow in his footsteps. Hector has some extreme social problems when it comes to dealing with simEarthians, and thinks that they are vile creatures.
Suggested Personality: (Popularity/Knowledge) Extremely Neat, Extremely Serious, Very Outgoing, Very Grouchy, and Very Active.
Mezoga Tech
Hector would like to think of Mezoga as 'his prodigy', having started training in pollinating at a very early age. Even though she's only a half alien who was given to Hector for the sake of science, testing has proven that she has the intellect of a pure breed. The Colony has her whole life planned out for her- she will be the first half-blooded alien Pollination Technician, specially trained to pollinate ones like herself.

Deveraux:
Not part of the actual storyline as of yet, but live in Strangetown and have mingled with some of the residents there. Because of this, their bios will be very brief.
Elroy Deveraux
Elroy is a man of mystery. Nobody knows where he came from, but he all of the sudden showed up in Strangetown recently with his daughter Mabel. Rumors have said that he is of the faerie variety, and has a fascination with aliens.
Suggested Personality: (Fortune/Knowledge) Extremely Grouchy, Extremely Outgoing, Very Neat, Very Serious, and Moderately Active.
Mabel Deveraux
Mabel hopes that even with her non-traditional upbringing and pointed ears, she will be able to fit in with the residents of Strangetown and be a normal teen. That is, if her over-protective father ever lets her out of the house and cuts down on her chores.
